2020 IDESST Annual Portuguese Crab Dinner Fundraiser

Join us for our annual traditional Portuguese Cold Crab Dinner Fundraiser & Dessert Auction on Saturday, February 1st. Under the direction of wine country renown Chef Manuel Azevedo we do it the "old-fashioned way." We receive fresh live crab the morning of the event, and cook, clean, and crack the crab at the Center.

Tickets for tables of 8 are now on sale. There are only 22 premium tables available in the ballroom. Additional tables are available in our smaller dining room. This event sells out every year and we have already sold over 50% of the ballroom, so don't miss out! Proceeds from the Crab dinner and Dessert Auction underwrite the expense of our Holy Ghost Festa.

Time: Doors and Bar open at 5:30 pm and dinner is served at 7:00 pm.

Premium Tables in the Ballroom: 
$550 per table — B
uy a table for friends and family (seats 8). Seating preference given by purchase date.

Tables in the Dining Room: 
$500 per table —
 Tables seat 8. Dining Room is adjacent to main ballroom.

Individuals: Tickets are $75 per person. Individual tickets go on sale after 12/31/19, if available, and will be in the dining room.

Dinner Menu: Includes appetizers, Portuguese style green salad with roasted sweet peppers, garlic buttered pasta with Sao Jorge cheese, and our delicious cold cracked fresh crab. Traditional red cocktail sauce and fresh lemon provided. You are welcome to bring any other sauce or condiment you prefer to have with your crab.

No-Host Bar: We have a great selection of wines, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. Since this is a fundraising event to support our Annual Holy Ghost Festa, bringing in your own wine is discouraged. If you choose to bring your own wine, we will request a donation as a "corkage fee."

Dessert Silent Auction: We welcome cake or dessert donations to be auctioned during dinner (some gluten-free baked goods welcome). It's a fun way to show off your baking talent and offer our guests a delicious dessert — all while supporting a good cause. Please include a description of the dessert and the name of the baker to provide on the auction sheet.
