Beautiful North Bay Venue in the Heart of Sausalito — One of Marin’s oldest landmarks, the Sausalito Portuguese Cultural Center provides just the right location for your special event. Sausalito, a beautiful seaside town nestled against the Marin headlands and just north of the Golden Gate, offers scenic views, charming shops and gourmet restaurants.
The Sausalito Portuguese Cultural Center, located on Caledonia Street, is just one block from the beach and the marina. It is one of the largest rental venues and best values available in Marin. After an extensive remodel, the Center provides over 5,000 sq. ft of premium space. A 2,800 sq. ft. Ballroom with beautiful hardwood floors is available plus an adjoining 2,400 sq. ft. Dining Room.
Rooms can be rented separately or together and include banquet tables & padded chairs for 250 guests, bar & lounge area, large kitchen for caterer staging and beautiful foyer. Amenities include a beautifully restored ballroom dance floor, dimmable chandelier lighting, Casablanca fans, cathedral-height wood-beam ceiling, dressing area/"green room," high-speed internet, and Mediterranean landscaping. A long maple bar adjoins both the ballroom and dining areas. Recent upgrades include new heating and AC throughout.
